Here you'll find guides/notes to amateur digital voice modes (D-STAR, DMR, C4FM, M17, P25, and NXDN) I have gathered over the years. Also found here are notes from my AM and shortwave listening nights years ago, plus some new stuff I dug up on things I found interesting. Everything on n6jet.com is released free of copyright. You may use, copy, and distribute anything here for any purpose, commercial or not without permission and without attribution.

Live Last Heard Monitors

A system-wide last heard on a busy DMR network scrolls faster than anyone can read. These four pages fix that in two different ways. The BrandMeister, TGIF and FreeDMR monitors are filtered down to English-speaking talkgroups only, so what is left is traffic you might actually join. The AmComm monitor is not filtered: it merges six of that network's ten dashboards into one timeline, corrects the clock difference between their servers, and shows which peer carried each transmission. All four update on their own and all four have a Pause button, so you can stop the feed and read.

Radio Manual Quick Reference Guides

Eleven handhelds, each condensed from its own manual into a single searchable web page. What every key does on a short press and on a long press, where the setting actually lives in the menu, which defaults matter, and the traps the manual buried in a footnote. Free to use, and built to print.
