N6JET Multi-Mode Digital Voice Station

At my home station I keep a group of hotspots, each one configured and left sitting on a talkgroup or reflector I use. The codeplug in every radio is built around that group. When I want to operate a digital mode, nothing needs setting up — I pick a radio and switch Zone/Channel to the destination I want. No hotspot configuration is necessary. It makes for a radio-only experience, which is how I prefer to operate.

Hotspots

Central control for the Pi-Star hotspots — one login, one screen. At a glance it shows which are connected and which are transmitting; each one also lists its hostname, callsign, frequency, color code, DMR master, talkgroup, DMR ID and mode, with links straight through to that hotspot’s own configuration, admin and dashboard screens. Hotspots are added, edited and removed in the page itself, so keeping the list current never means logging into anything else. It runs on the home LAN, not on the internet.
